Music in Harmony Keeps Music Alive!

Local musicians come together for a one night showcase performance.
JACKSON, WY.  The community is invited to experience Music in Harmony at the Center for the Arts on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 7PM.  This is a FREE event you won’t want to miss.
Music in Harmony will feature selections from each of the following local nonprofit music groups:

  • The Jackson Hole Chorale
  • The Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole
  • The Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra and Brass Quintet
  • The Jackson Hole Community Band
  • Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir

Each group will take the stage for 10-15 minutes, sharing a repertoire of beautiful, exciting and fun music.  “The community should be totally entertained by our carefully selected music – guaranteed to inspire and show our talents”, commented Laura Huckin, Artistic Director.
“We have a fantastic surprise, as the evening will end with a spectacular finale ensemble number from Carmina Burana combining all five music groups”, said Laura Goldstein, Project Coordinator.  “We’ve been rehearsing for months, and are definitely excited to show our community the talent of 150 local volunteer musicians who have come together for the first time”, Laura Goldstein continued.
Mark your calendars now for October 16th, 7:00 pm.  The full range of musical genres will be explored as the audience will have the unique opportunity to see a sample of what the local nonprofit music community of Jackson Hole has to offer.
