2024 Spring Music Festival Schedule
Honoring our collective diversity with a weekend of music-making and discovery.
All events, free.
Observe the process of music creation by attending any of the open rehearsals Saturday afternoon with the Festival Orchestra, Festival Chorus, or both!
Chinese lute player, Jackie Ricks, and Korean Drummer Sangyoun Park offer a closer-look at their unique instruments during informal instrument demos in the Theater Lobby. Ask questions and appreciate the sounds and stories behind these instruments.
Did you know that the premiere of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy was chaos? Why does “Asian” music have such a unique sound? Join Jeff Counts from GTMF and Laura Huckin from CVCC for a fascinating and informative conversation before Sunday’s afternoon concert.
Enjoy the splendid beauty of music from the East, coupled with the jubilant sounds from one of Western Europe’s finest composers. Regional guest artists hailing from University of Wyoming, BYU-Idaho, Utah Valley University, and the Los Angeles Sinfonietta join Cathedral Voices Chamber and the Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable celebration of our collective diversity.

This coming season explores the power of the global chorus and the need for Belonging. We’re excited to collaborate with neighboring organizations and nationally-recognized musicians. Together, let’s eliminate barriers and celebrate our collective diversity!
