Winter Concert Celebrates Local Talent and Community Collaboration
Cathedral Voices presents Songs of Soul
JACKSON, WY — Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir invites the community to its annual winter concert, a vibrant celebration of local artistry, collaboration, and the spirit of the season. The performance will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Center Theater at Jackson’s Center for the Arts. The concert is free but ticketed, with donations welcomed at the door.
Audience members are encouraged to arrive early for a 6:00 PM holiday gathering in the Theater Lobby with warm apple cider, hot chocolate, festive cookies, and live music from members of the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole and vocalist Molly Moon Thorn. This holiday gathering is hosted by the Center.
“Cathedral Voices remains committed to nurturing talent—both fresh and seasoned—and inviting everyone into the musical experience,” said Laura Huckin, Artistic Director. “This program is a celebration of community, creativity, and shared joy through music.”
Program Highlights
This year’s winter concert features the rhythmic and joyful energy of music with African roots, alongside seasonal selections showcasing soloists Cody Daigle, Mason Marshall, and Taralee Fairclough. Expressive instrumental performances by harpist Nina Munger and flutist Beth Post compliment the musical harmonies of Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir, and an energetic arrangement of O Come All Ye Faithful, inspired by Pentatonix, adds a contemporary flair with a featured vocal quartet and live vocal percussion.
The Teton Music School Youth Choir, directed by Melissa Elliott, offers a charming entr’acte with melodies sung in both English and Spanish. Additional guest performances bring depth and color to the evening, including special music by Amber Mouton and Marshall Cherry.
The concert concludes with a luminous presentation of music by renowned composer Dan Forrest, and a high-energy soulful rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Even local band Cache Funk is expected to make a special appearance!
