Singers from Sublette County join the 2018 Spring Music Festival
Vocalists from Pinedale to perform with Cathedral Voices
JACKSON, WY.  Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir’s second Spring Music Festival presents four days of performances, lectures, and open rehearsals in Jackson, featuring Dan Forrest, an internationally-acclaimed choral composer, educator, and pianist. Three Pinedale choirs including the Pinedale Festival Choir, Sisters of the Heart and Voices 8 have been invited to perform in the Spring Festival’s Gala Concert.  Don’t miss a very special event featuring 26 adults and students from Pinedale performing with over 50 Jackson vocalists and visiting composer Dan Forrest at 7pm on May 4 at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village.  For details, visit www.cathedralvoices.org.
“Pinedale Community Theatre (PCT) actors and Pinedale Community Choir members just can’t stop singing” says Valerie Lee, Managing Director of Pinedale Community Theater and the director/organizer of the Pinedale choirs participating in this year’s event.  “It’s fantastic!” Singers have been rehearsing since early January.
During the Festival’s Gala Concert, each participating choir ensemble will perform a featured set of music. The conclusion of the performance will bring all vocalists to the stage to perform three songs by Dan Forrest. Mr. Forrest—an accomplished pianist—will accompany the combined choirs for the two final selections.
Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, Center of Wonder/Town and County Arts for All, and Cathedral Voices’ Business Partners and Season Sponsors.
