Can Cathedral Voices raise $1,500 in 24-hours?
On #givingtuesday, December 3rd, our goal is to raise $1500 in support of three spring initiatives:
Education – a Spring Student Recital in April, 2020 for music students in the local public high school, providing a performance experience for area youth who normally do not have such opportunity.
Innovation – 2020 Spring Festival outreach events for local students and the general public, including in-classroom visits with guest artist Dr. Geoffrey Boers, and a Meet-the-Artist lunchtime discussion exploring mirror neurons and music.
Service – The Spring Festival Community Chorus is Cathedral Voices’ invitation to all regional singers (of all levels) to participate in the 2020 Spring Festival. No audition required.
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Be part of the change, inspire others, and give to local charities you have passion for. The greatest impact is on-the-ground, here at home.
