JACKSON, Wyo. —  This spring we celebrate the love, beauty and strength a child’s voice can bring to our world with music by Canadian composer Sarah Quartel.  Join us for a journey through music and narration with her 5-movement work Snow Angel composed for choir, cello, percussion, and piano. This spring performance is Wednesday, May 17th in the Center Theater in Jackson, at 7:00pm.  The performance is free.

Both Cathedral Voices choirs will also perform music from across the vast spectrum of genres including excerpts from Giovanni Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and soaring melodies from 20th Century composer, Ola Gjeilo.

To top it all off, youth choirs from Teton Music School, Star Valley Voices, and Jackson Hole Middle School conclude the concert with a special performance. The concert is free, donations appreciated.

Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole,  and many local Community Sponsors.
