2018 Winter Concerts bring Harmony to Jackson Hole
JACKSON, WY— Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir celebrates its 15th Anniversary Season in perfect harmony, this coming weekend.
Cathedral Voices and the Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra are proud to present “Harmony for the Holidays,” celebrating music and all its capabilities, Friday, December 14 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 16 at 4:00 pm at Walk Festival Hall. The concerts are free ($10 suggested donation). Audiences are invited to the stage afterwards to enjoy refreshments and mingle with local musicians. For more details, visit www.cathedralvoices.org.
This year’s concert is the 7th Festive collaboration between Cathedral Voices, Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra, and the Jackson Hole Brass Quintet. This annual December tradition presents a jubilant blend of repertoire from these distinct ensembles, including a featured performance by Cathedral Voices’ Chamber Children’s Choir.
“We’reextremely excited for these concerts at Walk Festival Hall,” noted LauraHuckin. “The variety of sounds andharmonies—some quite familiar and others strikingly new—is what makes thiscollaboration so special.” The eveningwill be filled with sounds from brass, strings, voices young and old, tuned water glasses, and bodhran, just to name a few.
